Mr. Supun S. Pathirage Appointed as the New Chairman of the CEA

Mr. Supun S. Pathirage has been appointed as the new Chairman of the CEA on 25th of October 2022. He has completed his Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and obtained his Bachelor Degree in Environmental Management (Special) from the University of Sabaragamuwa.
The welcome program of the new chairman was held on 25th October 2022 at the CEA with the participation of Mr. Hemantha Jayasinghe, Director General, Deputy Director Generals and Directors.
By addressing the senior officials new chairman expressed  that,  while  following the cooperate plan which is planed for next five years, have to carry out short term projects that can be achieved sustainable development goals. Moreover, he emphasized that working together as a team to succeed.
