Field visit to the Maragala Mountain Range

The Monaragala District office of the Central Environmental Authority organized a field visit to the Maragala Mountain range as one of the series of the program organized parallel to the World Environment Day.

The Central Environmental Authority collaborates with the Forest Department, this field visit was organized. 50 number of Environment Pioneer Gold & Silver medalist of Mo/ Madulla Maha Vidyalaya Participated in this occasion. Accordingly, the students had the opportunity to obtain the knowledge on the important values, water resources, biodiversity, social and historic value of the Maragala Environment Protection area.
