Service Appreciation 2017

In conjunction with the celebrations of the New Year 2018, a special ceremony was organized by CEA to recognize employees who have marked over 20 years of service to the Authority. This Ceremony was initiated in the year 2016 as a novel concept of the Chairman of CEA, Prof. Lal Mervin Dharmasiri and was organized by the Human Resource Development Unit of the CEA.
The ceremony was held on 2nd of January 2018, graced with the presence of Prof. Lal Mervin Dharmasiri, Chairman of CEA and Mr. Hemantha Jayasinghe, Director General of the CEA.
The employees who have completed 20 years, 25 years and 30 years of service were awarded bronze, silver and gold medals respectively and cash gifts were awarded to employees with more than 25 years of service. Moreover, seven special awards were presented for outstanding contribution to the Authority during the year 2017. Also, the officers who retired in 2017 were awarded with tokens of appreciation in this ceremony.
