Mr. Hemantha Jayasinghe Appointed as new Director General for CEA

Mr. Hemantha Jayasinghe appointed as the new Director General of the Central Environmental Authority effect on 24th July 2017.  He gave his great contribution to several private multinational companies. He started his career from Holcim Lanka Limited, Unilever Sri Lanka and hold senior positions in  E TAL Sri Lanka, Bio Extract Privet Limited, Access group of Companies and Heleo Natural Product Pvt. Limited.
He has completed his Masters Degree and postgraduate at the University of Colombo and Chemical Engineering Technology at the University of Moratuwa. He completed his Advance Diploma in Electrical Engineering under CE (UK)
Mr. Jayasinghe has assumed duties of the DG’s position at an auspicious time. Mr. Ranjan Dharmawardhana, Chief of the Staff of Presidential Secratariet, thank Mr. Jayasinghe for acceptance of this position. Also Prof. Dharmasiri, Chairman and Mr. K.H. Muthukudaarachchi DDG, EPC outline the institutional framework and further thanking and wish him for the future career.   
Mr. Jayasinghe’s wife and family members participated at the occasion as an inspiration for his new position. Senior staff members of the CEA also participated for this reception.
