➢The Presidential Environment Awards Ceremony 2024 will be held recently at Bandaranayake Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) under the patronage of His Excellency the President.

➢The application is acceptable in any of these languages (Sinhala, English or Tamil)

➢Applications can be download from the website of the Central Environmental Authority (www.cea.lk) or obtained by contacting the Authority over the following telephone numbers 011-2873447,011-2872278,and Hot line-1981 and also contact Dr.N.M.L.Radhika,Assistant Director (EPU) via 0706725222,ext. 2174.and Mrs.Arsha Kumari, Act. SEO (EPC) Via 0713486339.

➢The Presidential Environment Awards Winners and“National Green Award–Gold Award winners”in2018, 2019 and2021/2022 should not apply this time. Silver, Bronze andMerit winners in the mention yearsare eligible to apply.

➢Duly completed applications with copiesof the relevant documents and other supporting documents should either be sent under registered cover or hand delivered to“Chairman, Selection Committee, Presidential Environmental Awards–2024, Central Environmental Authority, Parisara Piyasa, 104, Denzil Kobbekaduwa Mawatha, Battaramulla.” On or before15th March 2024.

➢On the left side of thecover in which application is enclosed, mention the “relevant field” clearly.

➢Winners will be awardedPresidential Environment Award,Environment Award(Silver), Environment Award(Bronze) and Merit Awards.

➢Applications will be assessed formally by a competent panel of experts in the subject and the decision taken by the panel to select the winner will be the final decision.
