WATER QUALITY MONITORING
Water quality testing laboratory performs testing mainly to estimate the water pollution in accordance with the control & regulatory activities of Central Environment Authority.
Ambient water quality is being monitored in several major water bodies in sequential periods to maintain the quality and to help in the future planning in mitigatory measures to prevent the pollution in sensitive areas. Data collected and maintained by the laboratory thus can be used in the assesement of environmental impacts. |
