Soba Youth Clubs |

Environmental NGOs (ENGOs) |

The environmental conservation is impossible without community participation. ENGOs plays an important role in organizing community towards achieving the said objective. These ENGOs are registered in the Central Environmental Authority in order to facilitate them to communicate with line Ministries and International Donors. Any Non Governmental Organization implement environmental conservation practices eligible for free of charge registration. The Central Environmental Authority co-ordinates with these ENGOs for their assistance in implementing field level programs whenever and wherever needed. |

leaflets on environmental issues, CD's/VCD's, issues for awareness are prepared and distributed at seminars & workshops organized by CEA. Those materials are available at the CEA Head Office at a reasonable cost.

Quarterly News Bulletin with environment information is released to improve environment awareness of the students as well as adults. Environmental News Bulletin is distributed to public libraries, Universities and school libraries, government and non - governmental organizations and foreign missions. News Letter is available in Sinhala, Tamil and English languages. |

Nature Field Centres (Soba Ketha) |

The CEA imitated implementation of educational programs through Nature Field Centre 2002.
Randeniya , Bellanwila Attidiya, Roomassala and Giritale Nature Field Centres have opened Kegalle, Colombo, Galle and Polonnaruwa Districts respectively dissemination of environment information through models awareness / education programs and other training programs are conducted at those centres.
